Partial Listing -- Palestine Cemetery
Coldwater, Mississippi
In June 1999, I visited Palestine Cememtery. I took the following pictures and recorded some of the information from tombstones that were in my family.
I have come to discover that there are probably more there that I share kinship with, I just didn't know it at the time. Hopefully, the next time I
visit, I will be able to catalogue the entire cemetery.

Some Other Surnames there: Miller, Shaw, McCain, a lot of Phillips, Massey, Wright, Mosby, Draughon
Notes:
1. The year of his birthdate is disputed by numerous other sources and the family assumes it should be 1841.
2. Buried to the left of Michael, Sallie was his wife.
3. Buried to the right of Michael, daughter of Michael and Sallie. I suspect she died of some type of fever (yellow?) but have not proven it.
4. Nora is the daugher of Michael and Sallie. She married a Phillips and there are several more in the cemetery but I did not record their names.
5. Sallie is the daughter of Michael and Sallie, this is my branch of the family
6. Half-brother to Daniel F. Freeze, known as Uncle Bill
7. Father of Daniel F. Freeze
8. This young woman died when she was 12, I'm not sure where she fits into the family tree just yet.
9. I'm not sure where Junie May fits into the family tree just yet either.
